Interventional Pain Medicine · Southwest Virginia

Relief is possible. Let’s find your path to it.

Interventional pain management across Roanoke, Salem, Christiansburg and Low Moor — diagnosing the source of your pain precisely, then treating it directly.

Five offices across Southwest Virginia, one phone number, most patients seen within two weeks.

Comprehensive care, not a single procedure

Chronic pain is rarely one problem. Our evaluation separates the possible sources — disc, facet joint, sacroiliac joint, nerve, muscle — and confirms the responsible one before recommending treatment.

  1. Comprehensive evaluation

A full history, focused physical examination and independent review of your imaging. We look at the films, not only the report.

  2. Confirm the pain generator

Where useful, a diagnostic block temporarily numbs one structure. Clear relief identifies the source and makes the next step predictable.

  3. Targeted treatment

Image-guided injection, radiofrequency ablation, neuromodulation or medication — chosen for the confirmed diagnosis, not the general region.

  4. Function, measured

We track what you can do again: sleep through the night, stand at work, walk the dog. That is the outcome that matters.

How we treat pain

From diagnostic blocks to spinal cord stimulation, the majority of our procedures are performed in-office under fluoroscopic guidance with same-day discharge.

All treatments

Interventional Procedures

Image-guided injections, nerve blocks and radiofrequency ablation performed in our office suite, most with same-day discharge.

Implantable Therapies

Spinal cord stimulation and intrathecal pump therapy for severe or nerve-related pain — always preceded by a trial.

Other Therapies

Medication management, joint injections and rehabilitation coordination that keep interventional results durable.

Clinical depth, delivered close to home

Board-certified, fellowship-trained

Our physicians are board certified in pain medicine and anesthesiology, and every clinician on the team practices under a shared, physician-led standard of care.

  • Physician-led, team-delivered

Physicians, PAs and nurse practitioners work from one plan of care, which is how we keep appointments available without fragmenting your treatment.

  • Hospital coverage and on-call availability

We provide inpatient pain consultation and after-hours coverage, then coordinate your follow-up in the office after discharge.

  • Individualized treatment plans

No protocol by default. Treatment follows a confirmed diagnosis, and you leave every visit knowing what we recommend and why.
