She earned her bachelor’s degree in sports medicine from Radford University and went on to complete her master’s degree in athletic training at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Shortly thereafter, she decided to expand her ability to positively impact the lives of others by completing physician assistant training at Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, now Radford University Carilion. Dana began her career as a physician assistant in orthopedics before transitioning to pain management at the Pain Management Center of Roanoke.
